Inbox
A unified notification center for all ticket activity, mentions, and updates.
Overview
The Inbox is your personal notification center in Pomavo. It aggregates all activity relevant to you across tickets you follow, are assigned to, author, or are mentioned in.
Notification Types
The inbox captures a wide range of events:
- Mentions: When someone @mentions you in a ticket field or comment
- Assignments: When you are added to a user field, such as assignee or reviewer
- Status Changes: When a followed ticket changes workflow state
- Field Changes: When a field is modified on a followed ticket
- Comments: New, edited, or deleted comments on tickets you follow
- Comment Replies: When someone replies to a comment you authored
- Comment Reactions: When someone reacts to your comment
- Links: When links are added to or removed from a followed ticket
- Attachments: When files are attached to a followed ticket
- Ticket Creation: Confirmation when tickets you create are processed
Push Reasons
Notifications are delivered based on your relationship with the ticket:
- Followed: You explicitly follow the ticket
- Mentioned: You were @mentioned
- Assigned: You were assigned via a user field
- Authored: You created the ticket
- Comment Owner: Activity on your comment, including replies and reactions
Read / Unread
Notifications are marked as unread until you view them. The inbox badge in the sidebar shows your unread count. You can mark individual items as read or use "Mark All Read" for bulk cleanup.
Filtering
Filter your inbox by push reason to focus on specific types of activity:
- All notifications
- Assigned to me
- Following
- Mentions
- Authored by me
Follow System
Follow any ticket to receive inbox notifications for all activity on it. You are automatically followed on tickets you create, are assigned to, or comment on. Toggle the follow button on any ticket to subscribe or unsubscribe.
