Projects

Organize work into projects with multiple view types, timeline, backlog, scrum, and kanban.

Overview

Projects in Pomavo are containers for organizing related work. Each project can have multiple boards and views to support different ways of working.

Projects you belong to appear in a dedicated sidebar section. The currently active project is highlighted for quick context.

Your projects are listed in the sidebar for quick navigation.

Project List

The project list page shows all projects in the organization with their key details at a glance.

Creating a Project

To create a new project, open the create project dialog. Fill in the project name, key, and description.

Use Case Selection

During project creation, select the use case that best fits your team's workflow. This pre-configures board views and default settings.

Choose a use case to pre-configure your project's boards and views.

Project Navigation

Once inside a project, breadcrumb navigation shows your current position. Switch between views using the project sidebar.

Breadcrumbs provide clear context of where you are within a project.

Project Views

  • Timeline: Gantt-style view for planning and scheduling
  • Backlog: Flat list for grooming and prioritization
  • Scrum: Sprint-based board with iterations
  • Kanban: Continuous flow board with WIP limits

Use Cases

When creating a project, you select a use case that pre-configures the available views and default settings:

  • Scrum: Sprint-based development with backlog, sprint boards, and burndown tracking
  • Kanban: Continuous flow with WIP limits and swimlanes
  • Incident Management: Incident tracking with escalation, auto-assign, and SLA tracking flags

Iterations

Projects support iterations, or sprints, for time-boxed work. Create iterations, assign tickets, and track burndown across sprints.

Project Settings

Each project has its own settings for:

  • Default template and workflow
  • Board column configuration
  • Member access and roles
  • Iteration cadence
