Fields
Add custom fields to your templates to capture exactly the data you need.
Accessing Fields
Open a template to edit it, then choose the Fields card to manage the data fields for that ticket type.
Field Types
Pomavo supports a rich set of field types to model any kind of data:
- Text: Single-line text input
- Textarea: Multi-line rich text editor with formatting, @mentions, and inline attachments
- Number: Numeric values
- Dropdown: Single-select from predefined options with optional icons and colors
- Multi-Select: Choose multiple values from a list
- Date: Date picker for deadlines, milestones
- Time: Time-only picker
- Date & Time: Combined date and time picker
- User: Assign one or multiple team members, with a multi-user toggle
- Checkbox: Boolean toggle
Field Configuration
Each field has configurable properties:
- Required: Whether the field must be filled when creating a ticket
- Default Value: Pre-populated value for new tickets
- Description: Help text shown below the field
- Options: For dropdown and multi-select fields, define options with optional icons and colors
- Multi-User: For user fields, toggle between single and multi-user assignment
- Tag Topic: Group tag-style dropdowns under a shared topic for reuse across templates
System Fields
Every template automatically includes system fields that cannot be removed:
- Title
- Status, driven by the workflow
- Created By / Created At
- Updated At
